*******ALL Americans and those who live here need to understand what the Constitution is all about. Particularly in a time where it's being manipulated and torn apart by an administration bent on turning this country into something other than what our forefathers wanted. **First off, I HATE when people use the phrase "to those who see it". You can't get any more smug and arrogant with speech like that. You want people to take you seriously and actually listen to you? You should try to talk TO them, not AT them. **Finally, as for cleaning house. I'm going to paraphrase George Carlin here. Where are you going to find these magical politicians to replace the current batch with? The politicians that are in place right now aren't grown from some magical factory (despite what a couple here on this forum would like you to believe). They are born in bred here in America. They goto the same schools that you and I went to, got the same education that you and I received, for the most part had similar jobs that you and I held. So let's not pretend that if we can somehow etch-a-sketch the government and start fresh that all will be better. This government is run by the same people that you and I are, only they've been given a little power. And like all fallible human beings, are influenced by greed.

**I forget the study, but one university gave 100 students $20. They then said, you can either keep that money or give it back. If they gave it back, they would either get nothing or $30. Something like 60% of students gave the money back in hopes of getting $10 extra. Greed. It's human nature to want more no matter what you already have. It's been like that since the dawn of man when the snake tempted Eve. Greed.

*You're right..money and greed are behind just about everything nowadays. That's what WE have let it become. WE did this..WE allowed them to do it. And WE are responsible for it.
*What's it going to take to change their attitude where they start working for us again instead of themselves? If you can't rectify what you have, because you don't have any viable replacements, then perhaps you need to change the whole way we're being governed.

The phrase "those who see it" are referencing those that actually care about what's going on in this country and aren't content with just living their own little lives within their own little realm of existence. 80% of the general populace doesn't get into it. That's why these politicians keep doing what they are doing. They rely on the fact that the majority really doesn't care enough to educate themselves about what's really going on behind those doors.
*There simply aren't enough people around to make any major change to anything because 80% of the populace has been "dumbed down" to the point where they don't really concern themselves with the world out there. As long as they get up every morning and go to their jobs, or go whereever and go see Aunt Martha or whatever, they're happy and content. Why go to work? recent increases in unemployment compensation, welfare, Food Stamps, etc has made it more easier and acceptable for people just to say "fuck it I don't need to go back to work". They actually find themselves monetarily doing better by living on unemployment compensation, welfare and Food stamps, because employers have started cutting back employees and their hours to save money. You think it's bad now? wait until Obamacare kicks in and see how many small businesses are going to disappear completely because they simply can't fund insurance for their employees. Even Obama himself is getting a bit worried the closer we get to it's implementation next year.

NO..it's because the people out there didn't really get dig into the information to find out things for themselves before they put a mark on their ballots. As long as they are content within their own little world, everything is just fine to them. That's how a tyranny forms. Give the people something to keep them down but satisfied and then move in and take over.
