*******of course, but good luck getting an acknowledgement of that... the die-hard repugs on this site will conveniently look past George W's complete ruination of our country's reputation in the world community -- look it up (I know you don't need to but they should, though they won't)... they are so quick to criticize Obama for anything without acknowledging that Congress has stone-walled anything he's tried to accomplish on behalf of the needy because of the whole "I have mine so screw the rest" mentality...I don't need to say anything else but of course the entitled will grill my ass on a Weber grill (happy Independence day)

*****Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're missing some context here. I don't remember Winston slamming Bush except when he's slamming Obama, then saying "well, Bush was wrong, too" after someone brings up Bush doing the same thing. I don't think he ever criticized Bush before Obama was elected. Has PYCB ever supported any policies that could be called Democratic, much less leftist? Whenever he discusses a specific issue, he takes the Republican position:voter ID laws, healthcare, taxes, the size of government, etc. Whatever he says his registration is, if he constantly takes the Republican position, he's a Republican. Hippie J also constantly takes the Republican position, but that's part of her persona. When Bush was in office, everything was his fault, but the minute Obama took over, everything was his fault.

***If there was one thing positive I could say about hippie j, it's on consistency involving policy...... She relentlessly expressed her opposition to policies put in place by George W. Bush....If some of those policies were kept in place by Barack Obama, why should she not continue to voice her opposition? Especially when it's known that Obama blasted the very same policies he later kept in place...... It's quite apparent that many on the left understand this quite well.. It's certainly not a Republican specialty...

**Then you're saying that Hippie J is more ethical than those here who were fine with Bush's policies but are outraged when Obama does something similar to them? Say, those who were fine with the Patriot Act, but who are SHOCKED when it turns out that Obama is doing something the Patriot Act allows him to do?

* Obama slammed the Patriot Act....He made promises he didn't keep ...Maybe that doesn't matter much to you but many on the left have enough of a conscience to hold him accountable just as they held Bush accountable... Why shouldn't they?

He did change the Patriot Act. It might surprise you, but we don't live in a monarchy. The president has to work with congress and make compromises. Now, does your last sentence also mean that those who didn't hold Bush accountable have no right to hold Obama accountable?
