**** The Egyptian military has announced that Morsi has been ousted and will be replaced...

****They have also announced a suspension of the Islamist-drenched Constitution...

****Now look for Obama to find his vocal cords...

***Of course, Now he'll open his mouth in defense of the Muslim Brotherhood members..If he comes to the aid of Morsi, we can take
***that as a revealing action as to where Obama's head is really at.
***It's obvious the people and the military of Egypt did not want an Islamist in charge of things.

***Time to mind our own business for a change.

**the problem with what you are saying is that the people did elect Morsi and it is the military who are ousting him. You may not like the party and that it's Islamic based but as you state to others here who comment on US internal politics it is your choice not outsiders.
**
**Morsi certainly has done some things that a large group of people don't like which is obvious by the demonstrations but he was elected by the people.
**
**i guess where they are is in between Mubarak and where they want to be - I can't see the military keeping rule for an extended period, they will have to move to elections as soon as possible or the country will implode. There will be another very large group that will go to the streets while the military controls the state as that is what they demonstrated against before.
**
**this is a volatile position to be in, "Mr Morsi, Egypt's first freely elected leader, is under house arrest after what he says was a military coup."

*The military was the only option the people had to oust him successfully, but I'm sure there are many across the country that were in favor of his ouster and glad the military did it, (thus explaining the thousands of people gathered in city squares across the country celebrating his ouster).
*Those who put him in power perhaps didn't know what he was really all about and now perhaps they learned and wanted him out too.
*My other point was we should just back off and let THEM decide for themselves what they want instead of seeing if Obama is going to say or do anything to intervene in the situation. There comes a time when we should just back off and let it ride (and hopefully this is what Obama will do). After all, the whole can't be just like us..

Correction to my last sentence
After all, the whole WORLD can't be just like us..
