Instant Karma - a deceptively brilliant song that it seems only Lennon can deliver. i have NEVER heard a decent cover of this gem. When i try it, it sounds like a bubble gum pop song, it has this simple bounce to it but as you noted Lennon delivers a stunning vocal performance and that is what ties the song together and raises it to another stratosphere in my opinion. he has the gritty sound, snarling almost...
