**Caro and Manasia,as positioned. MIke Caro on the left, Chris Manasia on the right. Great story how Chris got back with playing music with MIke Caro after 25 years not. Chris's house was ruined by Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island. Mike Caro found out and told him to come live with him for as ling as he needed. That;s how I met Chris Manasia, who has become a valued friend. TWO GREAT PEOPLE, you;re about to hear, not just great musicians. Mike Caro is who produced the baseball song I sing on that gets played at major league parks on every Opening Day since 2008. He and I have recorded the music for Mike Appel's up coming musical, "In The Shadow Of The King". Appel is the "Born To Run" producer and founder and manager of Springsteen for all albums up to Born To Run. Caro mixes Appel's songs, as well as playing guitar and bass on many of Appel's intense songs for the musical. Wish I could play you some of the songs we did. Not released yet. If I get permission to preview one or so, you guy will be co firsts to hear them, along with the songwriting network of "Just Plain Folks" we belong to.

**So, here is Mike Caro, (former Sony studio great), and our close friend, Chris Manasia), as they appear in the video. (Their names listed on the page is reversed as to how they appear). Enjoy this cool cover of Penny Lane! They recorded the song,,,,THEN played to it for the video shots. Mike Caro did all the camera positioning and editing.

*Great rendition of the song. Thanks for posting that.

Glad you found them and their cover enjoyable! You're welcome. The cool thing is,,,they both just decided to go downstairs and play what they have been playing around with,,,among dozens of other songs, (theirs and covers). THAT is just them "throwing something together"! Must be nice to have such a complex guitar work song come together like THAT! Then, to try to mimic what they played for the many video shots,,,with just those two in the room! LOL...I MARVEL at their talents and ease of what they do. Since I have been fortunate enough to be able to work with Mike Caro, I noticed that everything I do gets an automatic review in my head as to HOW he would like to have it played! (BUT with NO pressure, somehow). He makes everyone feel SO AT EASE). He affects everyone that just meets him,,,never mind those that get to watch him play in person. (Even Mike Appel said he was inspired at first meeting and hearing Caro in person. HE is very different than the rest of us slugs on the bus! Passion IS him, for people and music. He makes everyone feel as if THEY are the ones to be worshiped and cared for, not him. Amazing people! Chris is that way too,,,just a lot quieter. He gets embarrassed when told how great he played! LOL

Wish you could meet those two,,,at least! One hour in Caro's studio or home, and you are a changed person forever! That's Mike Caro! EVERYONE told me that,,,and that is what I told my wife when I came home after first meeting him to sing that baseball song. It was like finding a true love mate for the first time. Powerful energy, and nothing but REAL LOVE in his heart for all.

So, thanks for taking your time to hear them, and to comment, I will let him and Chris know of your thought. Believe me, it will mean a lot! (as they just want to share in smiles and good feelings).

John
