It has to be Plastic Ono Band. I don't know that any rock and roller had done an album brimming over with such uncompromising
honesty and raw pain.....It was as if he reached inside himself, pulled his guts out, laid them on the table and said "You don't get any more real than this."


And yet it wasn't all in your face pain...


'Love' tells us very clearly that he would not allow the hurt to keep him from the light when it reached him..


The album was a jaw dropper in 1970 and it still is...


Now do I get my free cruise to the Bahamas?
