That's one perspective. Here's another: Should someone have the option of choosing not to shower with black people without being thought of as haters?

I'm guessing you'll say no, then explain why you see the two situations as different. I'm also guessing you'll say something about how the feelings of the majority of students should be considered. What would the majority of students have said about race in Alabama in 1953? Would you say they weren't haters from today's perspective?
