* I bought Rockshow on DVD yesterday and it was my first time watching it in quite a number of years. The picture quality looks quite good for footage filmed in 1976 and for the most part the sound also sounds really good, although on some songs the backing vocals seem to be taken out of the mix.

* This film really has a weird history. It didn't premiere until about four years after the Wings Over America tour. Then it was only released once on the video format that was around prior to VHS. I do remember occasionally seeing it on VH1 during the 90s. And then it takes until 2013 to get a proper release on DVD and Blu Ray.
*
* As for the concert film itself it is just as good as I remembered it being. Paul and the 1976 Wings line up really rocked. The DVD has about ten minutes of extra footage which basically shows fans at the time commenting on the Wings show. Plus you see Paul and the band clowning around backstage. Even Ringo and Harry Nilsson stop by.

I remember being 12 at the time of Wings Over America Tour and I wanted to go so bad but my dad said "no Way" but a year later I got the album.Great lineup of Wings
