**Technically I think they are called golden creme. They are Oreos in the same sense that soft and chewy chips ahoy cookies are still chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies. But to me an Oreo is chocolate cookie with creme filling.

How do you feel about what happened to New Coke? In that situation, a minority of the population, specifically Southern White men, decided (to simplify matters because it's 7:15 AM and I was up all night watching basketball) that New Coke was un-American. Market research shows that the rest of the country really liked it until it hit Southern markets.
