Because the government has such insane power that instead of getting rid of this guy the old fashion way (we know, but we don't know), they decide to fan the flames and take him out in a way that will leave them looking like the culprits.

Oh no, a general was made out in a bad light in an article, I know, let's kill the journalist in a firey car crash and make it look like an accident. Even though the article is already three years old and most people either don't give a shit about it anymore or probably didn't read it in the first place. But just in case, let's take him out and give those conspiracy folks even more ammunition against us.

I swear, you and Jax see a situation and immediately jump to the most insane conclusions. You two are always, ALWAYS railing on about the rest of us not having minds as open as yours, yet you two probably have the most closed minds in the place. Instead of keeping an open mind the first thing is to jump to the most illogical conclusion, call it a government assassination and be satisfied with that answer. Is it possible that there was foul play, sure. I can go along with that. Is it possible the government had a hand in it? Unlikely but hey, anything is possible, I won't rule it out. But as of right now it's an accident involving a journalist. Nothing sinister.

Oh and James Gandolfini, whose most famous role was that of Italian mobster Tony Soprano, died yesterday in Italy. Maybe there was a mass conspiracy about that as well. Maybe he really was in the mob. Perhaps James Gandolfini was his alias and he really was Tony Soprano and the government finally tracked him down and killed him.
