*** Obama taking actions which receive enthusiastic cheers from the likes of John McCain and Lindsay Graham, people who have frequently labeled as warmongers by the left?

***Even Bill Clinton chimed in to agree with McCain that Obama's failure to take more drastic measures could end up painting him as a wuss...

**People wanted a black president. Obama was th one that got past the rest. So, it was him or no black president, plain and simple. I have always said that any job should go to the best person, regardless of skin color, which works all ways of course. But to have what many black people did, JUST vote for the black guy, (whoever that would be), is just what could be called doing what the whites did and many still would, which is JUST keep voting for the white guy.

**The odd thing is, they didn't get a full black person anyway. But settled on Obama as a still a symbol of a black president, to just get him in, regardless. All who JUST wanted a black president, and didn't check out his Chicago past and much inexperience in general, got what they voted for, JUST a black president. Half that at that. I was rooting for him, although I didn't vote for him. I don't buy into the hype of a good speech. I just didn't think he was ready to take on the real leaders of this country. And, I don;t like the Chicago way of his and others. Although Washington is worse!
**
**Lesson learned by those types of voters though, who will vote JUST based on skin color? Probably not.

* It's stunning.. here's the guy who Obama defeated in 2008...The scary old dude so many didn't want near the Oval Office.. All that "McCain scares the everlovin' poop out of me!" stuff....Now Obama's taking his recommendations on what to do in Syria as if he were McCain's kid being ordered to take out the trash...

*And we still get such roaring silence,...

I don't think anyone really had a problem with McCain himself. I never had a problem with him. What I had a problem with was his running mate, nutjob Sarah Palin. It just screamed like maneuver to try and be hip and with it by selecting a woman vp. Problem is, she was a full blown wackaloon. With McCains age and the stress of the job, not many wanted the country run by some redneck housewife who has hardly stepped out of her backyard, gosh darn it.

Romney is the same story. Though I had more reservations about him than McCain. But once his crazy ass running mate was chosen I said, no hell no. I think a lot of people have felt that way. Republicans pick a decent front runner but then choose this crazy nutjob as the running mate and scares everyone to death.

But here's a tidbit for you. Historically speaking, any time a president has been authorized more power, not one president that followed has rescinded such powers. What does that mean? It means the next president is going to be just as bad if not worse with regard to the abuse of power. Statistically speaking.

I didn't vote for Obama this last time mainly because I was knee deep in work and am from the reddest state on the planet so it wouldn't have mattered anyways. But had I gone to vote I would have voted for him. Am I happy with him? No, not really. Has what he been doing actually disrupted my daily day to day life? No. I knew the gov was doing this shit long long ago so I'm not shocked. It's politics as usual. When I was younger maybe I would have given more of a shit. Now, I just stop and smell the roses and live each day the best I can and enjoy it for what it is. If I let every little political thing bother me, I would be a walking mess. There are more important things in life to be honest.
