*My 1st question in such a case would be or is respectively: is this against the law or is this within the law.

Then we'll go with the supposition that it is the law in the District of Columbia.
*The only next question could be, whether a de-escalating strategy would be more appropriate, but here the way those people do their PR comes into play (as I do believe). Announcing that you want to overthrowthe government and announcing that you will break existing law and using F***kbook to promote this all is probably not the most clever way .

And I'm saying is that not only is it not clever it's on the level of an infant throwing a temper tantrum. (if not exactly as innocent)
Let me state it another way. I want to argue for my right to carry a gun to defend myself so I get one and aim it at you for no apparent reason. Were I to pull the trigger I highly doubt I'd get of on a self defense plea. That is the insanity of what this lone nut off the branches of the nut tree presents.
