This 'dumbass' has a much simpler approach here and that's why I posted what I posted.
My 1st question in such a case would be or is respectively: is this against the law or is this within the law.
If this 'Passing into the District of Columbia with loaded firearms is a violation of the law and we’ll have to treat it as such,' is true (I suppose it is) , then it is 100 % clear what the Police Department Chief has to do.
The only next question could be, whether a de-escalating strategy would be more appropriate, but here the way those people do their PR comes into play (as I do believe). Announcing that you want to overthrowthe government and announcing that you will break existing law and using F***kbook to promote this all is probably not the most clever way .
