** On Saturday, Paul kicked off his current tour with a concert in Brazil. Going through the setlist I saw a few pretty interesting additions. He started the show with "Eight Days A Week" which apparently was only performed live by The Beatles once in 1965. Other songs that were performed live for the first time by Paul were "All Together Now", "Your Mother Should Know", "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite", and "Lovely Rita".
**
** Paul also did some post Beatles songs that he has not performed in quite some time such as "Listen to What The Man Said", "Hi Hi Hi", "Another Day", "Hope of Deliverance", and "Junior's Farm".
**
** It's interesting that Paul seems to do at least one song that was by John and George during his concerts. For George he is still doing "Something". But with John he's now doing "Eight Days A Week" and "Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite". Although if I remember correctly Paul had more of a hand in writing "Eight Days a Week". I think it was like the one loan exception where John did a lead on a Paul song. Also while his setlists are still more Beatles heavy it is nice to see that he's adding in some nice surprises from his post Beatle years.

*Remarkable how the audience got into it form the very first second on. Good also, because Macca's voice (these days) needs ~ 30 minutes until it's OK. :-)
Thanks for the link. That is amazing how the audience got into it from the very first second and were singing right along. I know what you mean about the voice. My last Paul concert was back in 05 and even then his voice got better as the show went along. I hope I get to see him at least one more time before he calls it a career.Followup Messages:
