Botched Raid

When I related the incidents concerning the fruitless search warrant raid on my home and businesses I remarked how there seemed to be some interdepartmental disagreement as the city police did not back the Sheriff during this highly questionable and apparently partisan action. That was months ago.
Now the city police chief has been very publicly and controversially fired by the city council. I may be ego-centric, but I surmise that raid played its part in that drama.
But that hardly makes sense, since the result of the raid only validates the chief's right mindedness in declining (if decline he did) to involve the city in that unmerrited action.
Still, one has to wonder...Followup Messages:
