* The City Council, including my friends the Mayor, and my CPA, voted unanimously to fire my friend the Police Chief on lack of confidence, citing his failure to effectively address the issues of drugs, and drug related crime.
* Can't say I saw it coming ...but it stands to reason.
* The paper mentioned one street in particular, and I suspect I know the exact address concerned : the apartments I put Donna up in couple of years ago.some of you may remember I bailed on that situation because the drug use was too wide open and obvious.
* Went past it not too long ago, and one of the major dealers in town had rented the old apartment. These fools are dealing in the street! I mean, if your business is illegal, it pays to be discreet, but, no! In the street, in the wide open! Not only that, in full view of the Mayor's house!
* How stupid can you get?
* I'm looking for some major stings to go down very soon.
* Don't know who the interim chief is. There's three good candidates: one a friend, one a foe, and one I really don't know.
* Not that it matters to me, my business is legitimate, but that crowd I kicked to the curb is going to be thinned out, I believe ...
