******Funny how your article leaves out the fact that the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSDLA) actually contacted the Romeike family and convinced them to emigrate to America. Perhaps they wanted a bit of PR for their company.

******This isn't about reversing the decision because the government is anti-home school. This is about opening the floodgates for the hundreds of thousands of people using "home schooling" as a way to get into the country. Also, don't you believe that people who have endured far worse than not being able to home school should be granted asylum first? Think about the hundreds of thousands of people that are seeking asylum in the US. People who are legitimately terrorized by their government. These people are denied but because a couple parents want to shield their kids from "witchcraft" they get to waltz right in? Do you see the precedent that this judges ruling is setting?

******Let us not forget that coming to the US to home school is NOT this family's only option. They could have emigrated to another Western EU country where home schooling is allowed. There is also the option of private school.

******But when it comes right down to it, it's really none of our business what Germany decides to do or not do with their education system (something that has been intact since the early 1700's by the way). Isn't it your buddy Ron Paul who is always criticizing the government about not getting involved in other countries affairs? Why can't we just let them be? Ultimately there are laws in Germany regarding home schooling (again since 1700's). The Romeike family knowingly violated these laws time and time again and got punished for it. If someone repeatedly drinks and drives and gets caught and punished should he just be set free because it's his right to drink and drive if he wants to?

**Even an ignorant like you must have noticed that my language skills are a topic (or kind of) only between the 2 of us. For a reason btw.

**But let me first repeat what I already have explained to you so many times: English is not my mothertongue. I have never and will never suggest that my English is flawless or even near being flawless. Nonetheless I am using this language on daily bases. I communikate with US people, with people form the UK and with other non-native speakers. It works just fine. I never had and probably will never have a problem to explain what I want to explain. I even negotiate relative large businesses in English. No problem. Which also has to do with the simple fact, that usually the people I speak to are interested in communicating and they also know that good communication doesn’t need being flawless in any language.

**At times especially people from India or China (and from the UK quite often) even speak German (or try to) and in many cases not a good German. They just are interested in communicating, they are showing respect, they want to be friendly, and the last thing I would tell them is “you barely speak the language”.

*She cloisters herself and seems to have no grasp of the world at large. She knows no other languages, yet is quick to criticize your grasp of English (though hers is dodgy at best) and I'm sure she's never been to Germany or probably anywhere in Europe or East Asia. Her "knowledge" of the world comes from infowars and prisonplanet. Pay her no mind, Klaus.



While I agree that Klaus has perhaps a very good grasp on the English language (maybe too good at times);), He's not quite what I would call a subject matter expert on foreign affairs either (particularly from the American point of view). Just because someone may not have a good grasp of the English language (in your opinion), or hasn't traveled the world or doesn't know a foreign language doesn't make them any less intelligent than you. Not all people agree on all things. Maybe if you spent more time trying to find out WHY they feel those things rather than just outright bashing them for it, you might see some things differently.

We all know how you and Klaus like to sbuggle up to each other when facing off with someone else, but let's face it.. YOU and he can be wrong too. Assumptions CAN make an ass out of you.
