******Recently, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has said that home schooling is not a parent’s right. It is a statement some are saying should frighten American parents.
******
******Nations like Germany and Sweden show that when governments take away home schooling rights, it’s a slippery slope to no parental rights.
******
****** America the Refuge or Not
******
******The Romeike family came to the United States from Germany five years ago hoping to find refuge. They wanted to home-school their children in freedom and a federal judge granted them asylum.
******
******But now the Obama administration has been trying to deport them, arguing that home schooling is not a right. The case is currently before a federal appeals court.
******
******Uwe and Hannelore Romeike began home schooling in Germany because they didn’t want their children exposed to things like witchcraft and graphic sex education that are taught in German schools.
******
******“There were stories where [school children] were encouraged to ask the devil for help instead of God and actually the devil would help (in the story),” Uwe said.

*****Funny how your article leaves out the fact that the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSDLA) actually contacted the Romeike family and convinced them to emigrate to America. Perhaps they wanted a bit of PR for their company.
*****
*****This isn't about reversing the decision because the government is anti-home school. This is about opening the floodgates for the hundreds of thousands of people using "home schooling" as a way to get into the country. Also, don't you believe that people who have endured far worse than not being able to home school should be granted asylum first? Think about the hundreds of thousands of people that are seeking asylum in the US. People who are legitimately terrorized by their government. These people are denied but because a couple parents want to shield their kids from "witchcraft" they get to waltz right in? Do you see the precedent that this judges ruling is setting?
*****
*****Let us not forget that coming to the US to home school is NOT this family's only option. They could have emigrated to another Western EU country where home schooling is allowed. There is also the option of private school.
*****
*****But when it comes right down to it, it's really none of our business what Germany decides to do or not do with their education system (something that has been intact since the early 1700's by the way). Isn't it your buddy Ron Paul who is always criticizing the government about not getting involved in other countries affairs? Why can't we just let them be? Ultimately there are laws in Germany regarding home schooling (again since 1700's). The Romeike family knowingly violated these laws time and time again and got punished for it. If someone repeatedly drinks and drives and gets caught and punished should he just be set free because it's his right to drink and drive if he wants to?

****I personally am just asking about the alleged witchcraft and graphic sex education in german schools

***I really wonder whether you really ask this as a serious question Hippie J.
***
***Anyway: there is no witchcraft (alleged or actual) ín German schools and that also goes for 'graphic sex education'.
***
***There however *is* sex education in German schools (as in many countries around the globe), maybe a reason (or actually: certainly a reason) for the fact, that the teenage motherhood rate in Germany is very low compared to other countries.
***
***The USA btw have by far the highest rate of all western countries.

**don't try to change the subject as you often do

**I question your sincerity in general in every post you make; you come off as nothing but an instigating troll and liar 98% of the time - and then you try to blame your language barrier and twist practically everything anyone says
**
**Those that know me here and otherwise can clearly observe my sincerity
**
**What evidence, if any, can you provide that supports your statement in regard only to witchcraft and graphic sex ed not being in german schools? surely you cant expect any of us to take you at your word (which has been proven to be incorrect more often than not)

*Wait, just to clarify, you asked klaus a question. Klaus answered said question, you didn't like the answer klaus provided and therefore now expect Klaus to show YOU proof that it doesn't exist? Since you're the one making claims, I think the burden lies on YOU to prove that it does exist.
*
*But given your normal MO you won't, klaus won't be bothered and you'll somehow claim it as some huge victory in your warped pathetic mind. Talk about twisting things.

Twist and spin... twist and spin... shiny things
