****So my next adventure takes me to Kenya, Sudan, Uganda and I don't know where. I've got 4 weeks of travel, and I plan on doing one week of safari from Nairobi down south to see Kilimanjaro and then up west. I thought about climbing that peak, but I don't feel like spending the week hiking. So, as it is, I will spend at least two days in the Amboseli national park and will be able to photograph elephants with that amazing backdrop.
****
****Anyone else been there and does anyone have any advise?
****
****I have an appointment tomorrow AM to get my immunization shots. Hey, Hippie Twat, if I get a Yellow Fever shot and Hepatitis A and B does that mean that the NWO has officially taken me over?
***
***A friend of mine is currently in Uganda right now. The pictures he's posted look pretty nice. Everything is lush and green. Lots of frogs and baboons and whatnot. I know he ended up going with a group of friends but I'm not exactly sure whether it was just a guided trip or just a some package deal. He seems to be enjoying it though.

**I had four shots today, and just confirmed my safari, so I'm ready! Kenya is confirmed, Sudan is confirmed, but Uganda or elsewhere is still somewhat up the air. What's your friend doing in Uganda?

*All the best for your trip!

*'doing' the Kilimanjaro is (or has been) one of my real dreams, especially because it's more a hiking tour than climbing. I met two people who did it (one failed to reach the top, one did), and I think it's a really interesting and also a physically, as well as a phsychical challenging adventure/exercise. I am not in the position to give any advice, but I know that I WOULD do it would I have the opportunity.

I've heard it called everyman's Everest due to its accessibility. I am a hiker/climber and it's something that does interest me, but I'm not in the condition I need to be to do the route I'd like to do for Kilimanjaro and I'd rather do a safari than a 7 day hike given the time I have.

*Sudan? Really? Isn't that one of the most dangerous countries you can visit these days? I once was offered to go to Khartoum in order to discuss a (not so little) business opportunity and in the end declined to do it, because I felt it would be to dangerous, eben inthe capital city. As written before: all the best! Get back well! Please share photos/stories!!

Yes, there are issues there and I'm trusting in my friend that he knows what we're getting into and the people we're working with have everything in order.
