Humbling...

Or maybe just drunk.
I have two bars on my property. I have recently began to enter neither one.
I don't drink at home, because there's no longer anyone there to drink with.
I don't like going to my own bars because it turns into work. I just want to relax and drink a beer, dammit!
So I go across the bridge and drink my competition's beer.
All too often at my places, someone will buy my drinks. Blows my mind. Don't they realize I've already bought the beer I'm drinking? But I let them buy my beer. Never turn down free money.
But it's annoying.
So I go across the bridge to kick back, and have a beer or two.
Now that's messing up too. The regulars have gotten to know me, and when I get up, ready to leave, somebody is gonna try to buy me a beer so I'll stick around.
I hate to disappoint people, but when I'm done, im done!
Then my ticket gets lower and lower. Today, $10.02. For 6 beers! 24oz. beers! For God's sake! They're cheap at $3.50! What the hell?
Not that I complained. Never turn down free money.
Never. Make sure it is really free, though.
Guess I'll have to stop drinking too.
At this rate, I'll be a saint before I die.
