*OK, even Alex the Clown Jones admits that the US society is historically a violent one (in nearly any of his they-are-coming-to-take-your-guns-away-rants),but still: it could be done, no question. It's actually quite normal (around the globe) to have legislation in place in order to prevent (gun)violence.

**Those who are intent upon committing violence will just find another means.
**This and other recent events involving stabbings are examples of that. The answer lies in treating those who are prone to violent behavior.. not in trying to take away a weapon.

I saw a man state that he didn't understand why America was making such a fuss over the Boston bombing, that kind of thing, he said, happens in my country every day!?
