*Any of you own rescued pets & how did it work out for you?
We had a little fox terrier mix that we got from an animal shelter in Virginia that had been found abandoned and we gave her a home and she lived for almost 16 years. And when we lost her it was almost like losing a child. So we eventually got another little dog (Yorkie) that was being handed from one person to another. We gave her a permanent home here. And that little dog has been a comfort to me since my wife's passing as
it was her favorite pet too.
They aren't just pets..they become a member of the family.
I have 4 dogs (1 Chow, 2 miniature pomeranians and the Yorkie)
They are kids wrapped in dogs bodies LOL
