* I pulled 2nd place in the Fort Worth Cowtown Chili Cookoff in the 80s. My catfish is always appreciated. My shired eggs always garner many comments.my 5 Alarm Shrimp Creole is notorious (bring an extra hanky, you will be breaking into a sweat, and your sinuses will drain). My eggplant casserole always gets raves, as well as my steamed spinach.
* Hand battered onion rings (the secret is homemade vanilla ice cream), and my tenderized roundsteak Chicken Fried Steak are always very popular as well
* ( cooking was my bread and butter- ha ha - for 30 years
