I see all the above points. My claim to giving a name is mainly for when someone is attacking another and remains anonymous, as if they can say ANYTHING attacking AT another, for they know they are already hiding as to WHO actually is the attacker.
That to me is the most low, cowardly, non credible thing we can do...First, attack personally, THEN NOT back that up like a decent person and say WHO is attacking in such a personal negative way. Just seems like a cold-cock hit and run in the dark. TOO easy to then say ANYTHING hurtful or extremely negative AT someone, for who the hell knows who that was anyhow?
Makes for too easy of negative assaults time and time again. Credibility used to mean something too. Self pride, etc.
If worried about someone coming to the door,,,,,aye that will be a needed filter of HOW to talk at or with people online! Or, if they do come anyway,,,put on a pot of coffee or tea and show off your Beatles stuff! :) Maybe play some music if a musician! Maybe GIVE a smile at the door and say, WELCOME! Took you long enough!
There used to be a time where one had a sense of backing up their own words. Don't make a few nutjobs stop that.
Lighten up everyone and ENJOY your time here and elsewhere, WITH presenting YOU. If you're THAT bad as to be worried to be found out WHO is saying all that stuff,,,then naming yourselves should be your least concern! :)
