***Follow up info after talking with Rossini: Daniel McAdams made up the title after reading Rossini's article for consideration for publishing. I told Chris to make up his own titles from now on. :) It was Chris's first article for the new Foreign Policy department site. Also suggested to him that he ask to be included on the staff info page. He is going to ask that today.

**I understand that editors often write the headlines and writers can't always control them, but he's wrong about no one wanting to comment on the title. The headline suggested something that wasn't supported by the article. Reading it, I thought the article was a failure because it took a position and failed to support it. That might not be Chris' fault, but that is the impression the article as published gives. the message he's trying to convey isn't coming across. to be honest, though, I'm not sure what the message is. All the article really says is that there are voices advocating a foreign policy position that he doesn't agree with and that isn't the one that Obama has followed up to this point. If that is a cause for concern in itself, fine, but the article ends with a question: "Will Obama follow Jennifer's advice and do the same?" Is there any indication that Obama will do so? The article doesn't give any.

*Well, so far, with all the comments into him and Paul, yours is the only one with what you mentioned. That's not to mean your point is not valid. Just relaying that info, for what it's worth.

*I guess the article is just to raise a point, and for others to ask questions (in private or public), as most articles are for. (To start some dialogue). He didn't write a book on the topic, in other words.
