One of the absolute greats of true country music has passed away...I can't even begin to list this man's achievements... after Hank Williams, it doesn't come any better than George Jones...
Gram Prasons could have told you...Keith Richards will tell you now...George was the real deal...he could sell a song like no other...
he once sang a song about the country greats of the past entitled "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?"
He could have been singing about his own shoes...
