Such a scene was filmed but supposedly dropped because it conflicted with the pacing of the film...I wonder why they didn't try and come up with a shorter scene that worked better instead of just dropping the Paul scene altogether?
*The footage is long gone now.. You can find the script for the scene online but that's it...

If you watch the extra dvd in Hard Days Night Dick Lester says that Paul was the weakest actor out of the 4 or something to that effect.Sorry Paulie stick to music.
