**** It's kind of sad to see that both The Beatles and Lennon boards have died down on this site. I still visit but don't post too often because most of the talk is on the Letterbox and I don't care to get into political arguments with people.
****
**** I guess part of the reason for the boards slowing down are that with both Beatles and John related things most of the "rarities" have already been released. The last big Beatles related event was the reissues which unbelievably were over three years ago already. I think the only thing left might be a proper DVD/Blu Ray release of Let it Be but I don't know if it'll ever happen.
****
**** As for solo Beatle news Paul is supposed to be working on another album for later this year. And I believe the next reissue in the McCartney archives series is going to be Wings Over America. I'd consider getting it if it has a nice amount of bonus tracks. Wings Over America is a very good live album but the sound on the existing version is already quite good in my opinion. A DVD release of Rockshow would be nice too.

***I'm disappointed with Paul. I wish he'd stick with Rock N Roll.
***Kiss On the Bottom and his Classical Crap do nothing for me and, even as a long time fan and collector of his music, I have a hard time shelling out hard earned money for stuff like that.
***His collaboration with Nirvana, is a nice reminder of what the man can do, when he gets his head out of the clouds.

** Not too many details have come out yet regarding Paul's next album but it will be a pop/rock one. Kisses on the Bottom I guess was Paul's equivalent of Sentimental Journey. At least he's not pulling a Rod Stewart with making like ten standards albums. I will admit that I do give the Kisses album a spin from time to time but probably just because I'm a Paul die hard.:) The two songs that he wrote were probably the best parts of the album.
**
** The neat thing with Paul though is that it seems like whenever people think he has finally gone too soft he then does something like the song with the surviving Nirvana members.*

*the man is 70....
*he's already given quite a bit - he has the freedom to "explore a bit"

You're right after being in the biz for over 50 years Paul's entitled to explore some. If he really wanted to he could either just be retired or not making any new music and just doing the oldies concert circuit playing his hits.
