"Day in the life?" Ringo asked. Paul shrugged. "Who knows what John's onto now? Personally, I just hope we don't get screamed at like the last time we were late."
The two entered the studios. "About time," John sighed. "We (he gestured to George and himself) have been waiting for you two to show up for the last two hours. We called in pizza." Paul blushed. "I overslept." "The dog ate my drumsticks," Ringo giggled. John smiled. "Anyway. Now that you two are here I can play you the song which I just finished, no thanks to you." John nodded to George Martin who pushed a button, and John's voice filled the air. "I can't figure out the middle eight, so that's the silence in the middle," he explained.
